ASPired2Quote can randomly display messages from a database. You have the power to add this dynamic feature with only a few lines of code. ASPired2Quote is flexible and it does not have to be used for only quotes.
The easiest way to display a quote with ASPired2Quote is to include the file "GetQuote.asp" into your ASP page. After doing this, a few database related items may need to be changed to allow ASPired2Quote to see the database.
- In the file "GetQuote.asp", change line 2 to display the path to the connection file.
- In the file "Admin/QuoteCon.asp", change the path to the database on line 5.
- Finally, set up the quote database with your quotes, message, scripture or whatever else you want.
